Anna Rataj

Anna Rataj is a student at the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland, where she is preparing her Master Thesis on Polish and German Real Estate law. She is also a student of the Music High School in Cracow, where she plays the piano. She has studied law for one year at the University of Heidelberg as an Erasmus Student. In the academic year 2007/2008 she is studying Business Economics (Betriebswirtschaftslehre) at the University of Bamberg in Germany.

She gained legal experience during her apprenticeships in Poland and abroad. She has been working as a trainee at the Notary Office of Dr. Sauer Dr. Thalhammer in Regensburg, Germany (2005) as well as in Law Office of Shearman & Sterling LLP in Mannheim, Germany (2007), in legal department of Angel City Office in Cracow (2007) and as a paralegal at the Law Office of Linklaters LLP in Frankfurt am Main, Germany (2007). Currently she is working as an assistant at the Office of Rechtsanwalt Hambura in Berlin, Germany.

Anna´s current academic and professional interests are: international corporate law, Real Estate law, Polish and European company law and capital markets.
