Andrius Smaliukas

Andrius Smaliukas obtained Ph.D and Master of Laws degree at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University. Mr. Smaliukas improved his qualification at the Faculty of Law of Lund University, Sweden. He represented Vilnius University at Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, USA. He was granted OSI/FCO Chevening scholarship for his studies at the University of Oxford, England. He did a research at UNIDROIT Institute in Rome, Italy. Mr. Smaliukas prepared and successfully defended Ph.D dissertation "Reform of and Harmonisation of Law of Security over Movable Property: Comparative Study". At the moment Mr. Smaliukas studies for the Master of Laws (LL.M) at Queen Mary College, London University, England.

Mr. Smaliukas published a number of scientific and practical articles for Lithuanian and foreign journals of law, delivered seminars for notaries public, employees of Social Insurance Authority, general managers of construction companies and other businessmen. In 2003, he made a presentation at an international conference organized by British Institute of International and Comparative Law in London, England. Mr. Smaliukas teaches law at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University, Vilnius Centre of EuroFaculty, International School of Business and International School of Management (ISM) in Vilnius.

Mr. Smaliukas is a member of Lithuanian Bar and Partner at SMA Law Firm, Vilnius.

Mr. Smaliukas is an arbitrator of Vilnius Commercial Arbitration Court.
